desultory - (adj.) lacking in consistency, constancy, or visible order, disconnected; fitful:

The desultory patterns of the wacky teenager left his parents, friends and teachers confused. He was always living life on the edge making unpredictable decisions which he proved the day he jumped into the freezing river with another one of his friends.






formidable - (adj.) causing fear, apprehension, or dread.
He posed as a formidable opponent after I saw how confident he was when he challenged me. I knew he must have had a lot of practice in twister, so i had to do my stretches before the big game.







guru - (n.) an intellectual or spiritual guide or leader.

There are many gurus of religions that hardly anyone has heard of. sometimes those religions flourish and become more widely renown. Other times the new belief dies with the man or woman who began in.













heritage - (n.) something that comes or belongs to one by reason of birth; an inherited lot or portion:

every ones heritage is so varied and individualized that it is hard to look at any one person and know exactly where they came from, and what their ancestors have done.






vacillate - (v.) to waver in mind or opinion; be indecisive or irresolute.

It is important to begin forming political and moral views when we are young, other wise it will be hard to vacillate our opinions once we are older.
